Request to Implement FLAG-Based InFlight Data Filters

InFlight data filters rely on Sender, Receiver, and Doctype information to display documents to users. This system works well for successful documents. However, if a failure occurs before the metadata (Sender, Receiver, Doctype) is resolved, those failed documents are not visible to the intended users.

To address this issue, we propose enabling FLAG-based data filter configuration. This approach would allow both successful and failed documents to be displayed to the target user group. The FLAG will be assigned through the BPN ST routing rules by the implementer.

    This may help in many of those situations, and if you team takes up modifying the maps. It is possible to fill that data before anything is processed, which in turn makes sure the metadata is populated prior to any errors.

    The code would look something like the below in the 'pre-session' stage or as early as applicable.  (for example you have to read some data to get the order number)

    Hope this helps.

    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "12345678" WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/BusinessReference";
    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "850"     WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/DocumentType";
    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "ourID"    WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/ReceiverID";
    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "ourName"WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/ReceiverName";
    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "their ID"      WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/SenderID";
    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "partner" WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/SenderName";

    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "extra" WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/ExtraInfo1";

    UPDATE PROCESSDATA SET xpathresult = "extra2" WHERE xpath = "TranslationOutput/ExtraInfo2";
