RTAM publishing old alert quantity

We noticed that the RTAM does not calculate the inventory. but sends the old alert data from the yfs_inventory_alerts table. Issue is not replicable in lower environments , but PMR team suggested this could be due to cache issue in production as this happens after the item classification is changed. More details on this are known to the PMR team and captured as part of PMR case TS009487860. Solution was also suggested by the team and is known to Vishal(Vishal_arora@in.ibm.com). Please assign this to Vishal to take it further.

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

This issue is observed when item classification is changed to make it a regular item after an event is over. During event it is a sale item. So with this fix from IBM, it will always calculate and publish inventory rather than using the old alert data from the db.
