As part of inventory publish, few systems are interested in ATP (supply - demand - safety stock), few other systems are in only (supply - demand) and few others are interested in only onhand supply.
However, RTAM publishes only ATP and to calculate the other values a new process to get the exact same values retrieved during RTAM processing.
The request is to store the Onhand Supply, Demand, Reservations and safety stock to be stored at Item-DG level and Item-Node level so that these values can be used on need basis either for RTAM publish or for any other real-time inventory lookups.
These values can be arrived by using few of the existing APIs but they take significantly longer to calculate these values.

How will this idea be used?
There is a huge requirement for real-time API calls for multiple items to calculate the inventory positions and respond back within a fraction of a second. Having the multiple inventory heads for quick access would save a significant time for the real time calls. |
