Change the process to do 'Reset to Default' in Order Hub to view the newly added OOB search filter in the UI.

There is a need to do 'Reset to Default' in Order Hub post every deployment when a OOB search filter is added on search screen. Else it is not visible. Idea is to remove the need to do that. Typically from user perspective they find it very hard to figure out the changes and the need to do that in order to view the new search criteria on the UI. When we raised it as a issue to be rechecked we are notified that this is an expected behavior and changes required on the same would be taken up as an enhancement request.

We did see the behavior when we attempted for a customization as stated below:-

We are adding OOB filters in “Search for – Order line “. After deploying the changes, we are not able to see the changes on search screen. If we are clicking on “Reset to Default” in Customize search criteria page, then changes are reflecting on search screen. Same issue is happening with rearranging the sequence for filters, it is working after clicking on Reset to default.

Expected result: Changes on search screen should be displayed without clicking on “Reset to Default” post deploying the changes.

We have seen this issue when an OOB search filter is added – seen same issue in Outbound Order Search – where search for is Order or Orderline. This issue is not seen with addition of custom search filter.

How will this idea be used?

Typically from user perspective they find it very hard to figure out the changes and the need to do that in order to view the new search criteria on the UI. Any customization with OOB search filters are not showing up post the deployment if a user is not doing 'Reset to Default' at least once hence we are getting lot of complaints in this regard.
