Address the log4J 1.x vulnerable Liberty WAR files in SB2Bi version 6.1.2

According to the release notes by IBM on the Sterling B2B Integrator version 6.1.2 it states "Apache log4j 1.x is removed and now we are using Apache log4j 2.17.2." However after updating to 6.1.2 The war files listed below still contained log4j 1.x. I have contacted support and it was recommend to me to submit this enhancement request here for development to review.

Log4j 1.x Vulnerable war files:

/si/liberty/wlp/usr/servers/SIServer/apps/PGPAPIs.war

/si/liberty/wlp/usr/servers/SIServer/apps/SWIFTAPIs.war

/si/liberty/wlp/usr/servers/SIServer/apps/customOrder.war

/si/liberty/wlp/usr/servers/SIServer/apps/ebicsClient.war

/si/liberty/wlp/usr/servers/SIServer/apps/ebicsServer.war

What is your industry? Insurance
How will this idea be used?

Please note... I got an update on our case. It appears that updating the B2Bi API (Liberty) is a separate process in the upgrade. I have since updated the B2Bi API (liberty) with the install service script and the package that resided in the download. One thing to note for improvement would be initiate an automatic update on the APIs if the package is installed. That would be helpful for future updates. Thanks!
