Today, if one of our partners who uses myFG2.0 loses their password, they must contact us to request a new password. With the large number of partners we have, password loss events have become frequent and the recovery method, via email or phone, is very time-consuming and frustrating. The ideal would be for the partner to recover their password using a feature that could be present on the login screen (i.e. "Forgot password" link).
With this feature, we will avoid manual work and also speed up the solution to the problem of lost passwords.
The idea of how this feature works would be that, if the partner forgot their password, they would click on the "Forgot password" link, present on the login screen. Then, a new screen would open where the partner would confirm their partner code and click on a "Send new password" button. The application would then send the new temporary password to the partner's email registered in "User accounts". At the next login, the user would enter the temporary password and the application would request the change to the permanent password.
