thank you for this enhancement. The Idoc number is a technical field, like filename, so it needs to be referenced as the source reference. We do not use filenames as we have ALE connection with SAPs, so IBM could have also used the source filename field to store the IDoc number. But source reference is more universal and can be used for any other systems than SAP.
We have reviewed your request, and I am pleased to inform you that it has been planned for a future release.
we've placed the idoc number in the input filename we push thru AS2 to IBM. Searches can then be used to look for source filename contains for the idoc number. You could also log the idoc number into the one of the EXTRAINFO fields.
