Add "SourceReferenceNumber" field in Inflight for document search and reporting purposes

Customer wants IBM to add "SourceReferenceNumber" field in InFlight portal for searching their SAP inbound/outbound documents and also make it available in reports (Inbound/outbound & summary reports). Typically we update "IDOC Number" from translation map in one of the three ExtraInfo fields. In this case, customer is already using up all the available ExtraInfo fields for their business related information and they want IBM to add this new field so that they can update IDOC number in that field.

This will be a change from HISPEED side as well as InFlight

Maps will update "TranslationOutput/SourceReferenceNumber" and we want that to be presented to InFlight under the same label. This Source Reference Number should be available in "inbound/outbound activity", "Trading Partner Summary" reports and also allow it to be selected in "Configure Columns" list

    Hello,

    thank you for this enhancement. The Idoc number is a technical field, like filename, so it needs to be referenced as the source reference. We do not use filenames as we have ALE connection with SAPs, so IBM could have also used the source filename field to store the IDoc number. But source reference is more universal and can be used for any other systems than SAP.

    we've placed the idoc number in the input filename we push thru AS2 to IBM. Searches can then be used to look for source filename contains for the idoc number. You could also log the idoc number into the one of the EXTRAINFO fields.
