Hi Team,
Currently in Sterling B2B Integrator there is no audit records/logs for the SQL statements executed via scripts db_exec.sh and db_execFile.sh.
We have verified the logs and ADMIN_AUDIT table and could not find any audit trial for the SQL statement executed via scripts db_exec.sh and db_execFile.sh.
Raised a case #TS011525977 with IBM to check if any audit records and IBM confirmed that there is no audit records/logs for the scripts executed via scripts db_exec.sh and db_execFile.sh.
We would like to have the enhancement to have the audit logs in either sterling integrator log file or ADMIN_AUDIT table so that we can monitor (any DB statements executed via these scripts) and alert via monitoring tool like Splunk if any suspicious security event happens.
looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks and Regards
Suresh

How will this idea be used?
Will monitor the log/audit table to check if any suspicious SQL statement executed via the scripts and alert via monitoring tool like Splunk. Currently there is no audit history for the SQL statements executed via these scripts and as part of Bank's IT audit requirement all the event occurred in application should have audit records. |
