Support for Oracle Exadata Database Machine with DB clusters using Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI)

We use IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Version, 5.2.6.2. Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.1.0.1.0 on Oracle Exadata is in play. Our DBAs intend migrate our SBI DB from Exadata to Exadata Database Machine with DB clusters using Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM).

Per this tech-note, http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21655600, IBM will support the same Oracle database versions and patch levels on the Exadata platform currently supported on non-Exadata systems.

Per IBM support, IBM SBI with Oracle Exadata Database Machine with DB clusters using Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) is not tested, and hence not supported. Request to test and certify it as supported.

Thank you for participating in the request for enhancement community. Your input is valuable in shaping the roadmap for the product. While we agree that this idea would add value, it is not something we are able to assign priority to at this time. In general, when accepting an idea, we strive to deliver the enhancement within 18 months. We will place this idea in an 'uncommitted candidate' in order to continue to monitor this enhancement for interest. If you have any additional questions or concerns please reach out.
