Shape the future of IBM!
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
IBM is transforming its request for enhancement (RFE) process. The purpose of the transformation is to provide a more consistent experience for you to submit requests and to enable IBM product owners to respond to your requests more quickly. For more information click here.
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
1. Post an idea
2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you
3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
ICC New datetime field - Custom API
The bank is trying to leverage the ICC SLC process to track whether a file has met its SLC.We are having applications (ie. SFG components and other custom applications) raising MQ events with time stamp to start and end SLC of a file.We then wrote...

Add a utility page where telnet, ping and traceroute can be run
When trying to troubleshoot connectivity issues with API endpoints to backend applications from a PEM cloud instance, it would be very helpful if there was a way that a sponsor admin could run a telnet, ping or traceroute command. This cannot curr...
automapper should also work with same input/output types
It is a common pattern to work twice on a output card, e.g.:- when the output should also include summarized amounts of several output records that need to be built/calculated first- when the header should announce how many records will follow Now...
Autmoapper from output to output
The automapper is very useful, but only does input to output. In some cases, we need to prepare mapping in one output card, and enrich it later in a following output card. Currently, it can be done but needs some cards copy and moving, and this wo...
enhanced PARSE function
In order to use the new PARSE function as a replacement for the old RUN(submap) constructs, the PARSE function should have similar behavior as RUN(submap). This essentially requires 2 enhancements: 1.) We need to pass arguments to PARSE like "-F21...
A new WARN() function, which would work similar to FAIL()
I propose a new function WARN(), which would work in a similar way to FAIL() and end the map with a specific warning code.
CyberArk AIM Integration/Connector
As part of security's best practices, it is mandatory that all applications have a connector with CyberArk to retrieve passwords from functional users, so it isn't allowed to storage static passwords in the local servers/Properties files from appl...
Security Exit must be usable by different SFTs and the STCname should be part of the RACF profile namess
In our environment we run several Connect:Direct stc's in one environment. The provided Security Exits do not offer a possibility to setup separate profiles for these stc's.We would like this to be changed. Second what we ask for is to add the STC...
Create multiple indexes in one shot
When developing and working with item(s), it could be interesting to create several indexes of an item in one shot. This is to avoid using the "add index" function again and again (which is time consuming)
