Add support to controllerWorkflow script to restart BPs that are in "completed, error" state by individual BP IDs

During system issues, we are unable to bulk restart the BP IDs at a time. This is causing huge support effort in the clean-up process. Existing controllerWorkflow.sh script doesn't have a solution to restart the BPIDs that are in "completed, error" state to be restarted based on BP IDs. It allows BP IDs to be restarted only within a time range.

We need a solution for this situation where we can restart the failed BP IDs during system issues based on BP IDs.

Already raised case: TS013798782 and Engineer suggested that we create an enhancement request since nothing like this currently exists.

We will be using this in our everyday operations during system issues to perform clean-up of processes that have failed due to issues that we encounter.

    Thank you for your patience. We have reviewed the idea and agree this is a useful enhancement to address a pain point with restarting BPs. We would consider adding the ability to restart based on BP IDs and status in addition to time frame.


    Your request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme aligns with our current roadmap and, as such, is being tagged for future consideration. IBM may consider and evaluate any community feedback for your request through activities such as voting and we may reach out to you about this request to discuss additional details with you in the future.
