Support for Odette protocol (OFTP)

In Brazillian market we have a lot customers that are using file transfer based on OFTP (Odette), so because of that, to have more SSP deployed we need to implement this protocol in the SSP.

How will this idea be used?

Customers want to send and receive files from their TPs by using the internet in the secure way. So, they want to have the option to setup the oFTP connection in SSP.

    Hi,

    Thank you once again for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience and your recommendations. Support for OFTP is a bigger enhancement and is placed on a longer term roadmap. As this cannot be delivered in next 12 months, I am marking this as "Not Under Consideration" for now. We will be revisiting this request again in 2024 and update the status accordingly. Appreciate your patience.

    Yes, Currently SSP supports limited protocols. It is better to include OFTP and AS2 in SSP.
