Multiple work orders allowed for a single order line

For any retail client working on any customization of products, they use work order concept to provide delivery or provided service. For an order with multiple quantities in a single order line, there are multiple valid cases, where a single work order will not suffice for all the quantities of a line. Multiple work orders are required to be created for different quantities. In this case, the Sterling product does not currently support this functionality, which requires multiple complex customization to achieve this functionality, which is not a viable solution.

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

This use case is required when a single order cannot be serviced via single work order in OMS.

For example, Let's say we have an order with a single order line with 1000 quantities, which requires customization. Not all the 1000 quantities cannot be customized using a single machine. Hence, in order to have customization from separate machines, we need to have different work orders for the same line. This is failing in the current world.

As per our current requirement, when the order is scheduled in OMS, we will send a request to a third-party, which will provide us the work order details to OMS to be created for the line based on their capacity of machine and users. There are multiple valid situations where multiple work orders will be required to be created for a single line. This functionality should be supported OOB to achieve this solution.
