Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed it with my team. Unfortunately we won't be able to provide full certification of C:D on CentOS. We do have certification on Red Hat Enterprise Linux which is very similar to CentOS however. Because of that we do support customers running on CentOS. We would offer support as if you were running on RHEL. If an issue arose that couldn't be replicated on RHEL then we'd need to ask that you work with the CentOS team to determine why it wasn't behaving like RHEL. Historically this hasn't caused challenges, but I did want to make sure the difference between certification and support was understood.
