Connect:Direct API Independent From C:D Server

We are attempting to use Control Center to manage our instances of C:D and Control Center connects via the C:D API. Some of C:D instances sit in different datacenters behind a load balancer in an active/inactive state.
We would like to be able to push the same changes out to all instances of that C:D environment not only the active side. To do this we need to be able to run the C:D API interface independently from the C:D server.

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM and for your patience as we reviewed it.  I have discussed this at length with my team and we believe that your request to offer API support independently from C:D would cause negative technical implications that would be detrimental to the broader market.  Because of that I must unfortunately reject this request.  Please don't hesitate to use this tool should you encounter future enhancement ideas however.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
