Shape the future of IBM!
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
IBM is transforming its request for enhancement (RFE) process. The purpose of the transformation is to provide a more consistent experience for you to submit requests and to enable IBM product owners to respond to your requests more quickly. For more information click here.
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
1. Post an idea
2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you
3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
NCPDP Compliance Check Enhancement
Enhance the NCPDP compliance checker to provide situational compliance checking for the entire transaction. Some examples are: We would expect a transaction to fail compliance when the Compound segment (AM10) is sent and field 436-E1 in the Clai...
add -L parameter to RUN()
Looks like the -L parameter is currently only available in Command Server on Non-Windows platforms. When I try to call RUN("submap", "-L") in a map, I only get a generic error message ("Error detected in running map, exiting.")Our migration from C...
Add a feature to load codelist to IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Design studio for local testing
We are using codelists for 90 percent of clients and currently, we do not have an option to load the codelists to the ITX design studio for local testing as we do for the SI mapping server. We are depending on CTE/Production testing to validate ma...
Encryption for Socket Adapter
We would like to exchange data over Socket securely and would like if ITX/WTX can add encryption to Socket Adapter
Add POP3 SSL and or IMAP to TX Email adapter
POP3 SSL is useful to send and receive email using SSL , to securize data transmission by email as it will be encrypted as it is transmitted.
Most activity sectors would benefit from this feature .
For POP3 SSL , the certificates would be in the G...
Improve debug capabilities on failed maps
When a map is deployed and fails translation, it is very difficult to find out the reason of the failure. A clear report on what has been the failure, as the Translation service of SterlingB2B Integrator, that includes type or error, iteration cou...
automapper should also work with same input/output types
It is a common pattern to work twice on a output card, e.g.:- when the output should also include summarized amounts of several output records that need to be built/calculated first- when the header should announce how many records will followNow ...
Autmoapper from output to output
The automapper is very useful, but only does input to output. In some cases, we need to prepare mapping in one output card, and enrich it later in a following output card. Currently, it can be done but needs some cards copy and moving, and this wo...
enhanced PARSE function
In order to use the new PARSE function as a replacement for the old RUN(submap) constructs, the PARSE function should have similar behavior as RUN(submap). This essentially requires 2 enhancements:1.) We need to pass arguments to PARSE like "-F21 ...
data anonymization/masking (typetree attribute + test mode)
There are 2 requirements that lead to this idea:
1.) external requirements like GDPR force us to anonymize/pseudonymize data in non-production environments2.) A-B-testing would be much easier if we can mask dynamic attributes (e.g. timestamps)
Do not place IBM confidential, company confidential, or personal information into any field.
