Schedule Shutdowns of Managed Connect Direct Servers

It would be nice if there were a way to schedule the shutdown of some of our managed Connect Direct servers.  For us, it would be for Windows and UNIX (AIX and Linux).  Connect Direct z/OS is managed by a different team here.

How will this idea be used?

Be able to schedule the shutdown of Connect Direct from Control Center, would give us greater flexibility and control.  We receive notifications as to when patching is being done and we can then schedule that activity in Control Center before the actual implementation date.

    Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I'm pleased to announce that the ability to schedule updates has been added with the introduction of Control Center Director. Control Center Director gives you the capability to push maintenance out to your distributed C:D environment from a central location and includes options to group servers that will receive upgrades and schedule when they occur. I believe this provides the capabilities you requested as part of this RFE so I will close this request out as being delivered.
