Porduct scan is not allowed by product id for the orders having products with same item id and multiple UOMs. It is applicable on all scans in store application.

We have a Retail customer  whose catalog allows multiple items created with same item id but different UOMs (EACH, CASE). When order products are scanned by using item id, it returns two items and error pops out saying multiple items found for entered value and pick does not happen.  Returned items after scan are not compared with shipment lines for item id and UOM combination to record the pick quantity.

This could be major product enhancement but needed by client on urgent basis. Note that requirement is general across all areas where pick is implemented with item id and not only at backroom pick process.

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

It is urgent need of a client for whom Sterling OMS solution is getting implemented. It is urgent need of next release of the solution in June 2018.

It should consider the different UOM's of the Item, as it looks to be a major bug, it will be good if this is addressed asap.
