Capability to scan destination location without having to first "select" location

When executing a putaway task, user first scans the source location and then the SKUs. User then proceeds to the next page to deposit the product, but even if the destination text box with a scanning icon is present, user is NOT able to scan the destination location. OOTB, the product throws the error "Scanned location does not match with any destination location ", though the location is valid. But you need to use the 'select' option to first select a location.

On raising an IBM case TS018746705, i was told the below:

Regarding the destination location scan, it was not working for you because you need to add the destination location first using the "select" option and then you will be able to scan it.

I'm requesting for an enhancement for this to work - to make the destination location scannable just like the source location.
