SFO to consider the carrier delays during optimization

The ad hoc carrier delays need to be captured in SFO as separate parameter in order to account, longer delivery lead times to deliver the orders from the nodes due to a sudden strike announced by the carrier.

The ad-hoc carrier delays need to be considered by the Optimizer in the decision-making process for the optimal node-carrier combination to fulfill the item.

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

As a consumer, the order will be fulfilled by a node-carrier (without ad-hoc carrier delays) that can ship and deliver the order faster, as compared to node with ad-hoc carrier delays configured during the time period.

Hello @IBM, can you please provide more details on the actual CAS API that can be used to update the carrier delays in the optimizer ?. These delays are configurable and cannot be included in the CAS API that is used to update the transit delays. Thanks
