Logging is needed WHO and WHEN downloaded a file from Sterling Dashboard or FileGateway

When debuging file flows it is useful to see how the file looked before the transformation and how it looks after transformations.

Due to compliance reasons on production systems it is necessary to see WHO and WHEN downloaded the file and viewed it's contents as it might contain sensitive information.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM.

IBM has evaluated the request and has determined that it cannot be implemented at this time in a reasonable time frame.

There are performance concerns with making multiple copies of documents and storing either on the DB or FS, this would cause a major problem for our customer base. One option that could be considered is writing a custom business process to accomplish this task. You could archive the document pre and post proceessing. IBM Services could help in the design. If you have any questions please reach out to your sales team for pricing.
