B2Bi using Document Object Model (DOM) for XMLDsig requires a lot of RAM to handle payloads

Customer having a problem with XMLDsig where B2Bi is using Document Object Model DOM to handle XML payload by design. The issue is that it requires 2GB RAM to handle 130 MB payload. This is just for one file. The reason is that B2Bi processes in memory. Customer looking to consolidate all payment files from all corporate customers. The solution would not be feasible for the volume they want.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

We need to find a way for B2Bi to handle large amount of XMLDsig payloads without having to use RAM.

A 130MB of XML payload require app. 2GB of RAM to build and interact (sign the payload) with the DOM. From what we document, this seems to be a linear ration, so 2GB of XML payload would require app. 16GM of RAM alone – which is not really feasible when looking to consolidate all payment files from all corporate customers. The solution would not be feasible for the volume they want.
