Decompress and read .tar files

Currently BPN tool is able to unzip and extract only .zip files. We have customers and trading partner ( for Ex : Electrolux) sending us .tar files. Requirements are to unzip the .tar files and extract the files within. This is not possible using existing zip Xprocessors.

How will this idea be used?

We have customer Electrolux who is in some cases sending us compressed .tar files and some cases TP's sending us .tar files. Requirements are like decompress the files and manipulate/regroup/filter the files within and take on further processing. This is not possible with current zip Xprocerssors and we end up going back to Customer and TP asking for alter solution like either sending us decompressed files or sending .zip files instead.

.tar are also basic compressed files, i believe it would be a good add to SCBN cabpilities, and will help future customers and also furture PERs.
