Enhance your automated email on a VAN Failure transmission to us

We sometimes receive emails entitled: "IBM Sterling Information Broker Services (System Notification) - Message Undeliverable".
The email tells us something went wrong sending a message from someone to someone. It lacks any useful information to help us identify what this pertains to.

The email should provide some sort of indication of why the transaction failed and other relevant information.
This email does not provide any useful information.

What partner was it?
Were we sending or were they?
What is the ISA Control Number
What is the ISA Sender ID
What is the ISA Receiver ID.


I've mentioned before that this type of email does not provide any useful information.

FYI, SRXAA001 is Prod Mailslot

How will this idea be used?

Without this enhancement, it is a big waste of time on our end and YOURS, since someone on your side needs to do the research and then get back to us.

    Customer mentioned these notification mails are not useful , hence we should consider adding additional details in these notifications.
