How will this idea be used?
The end user many a times tries to unprovision the codelist by mistake while others are still trying to update it. We need to restrict the usage of the unprovision button and move it to a higher level of access . If not done then system leads to inconsistency and needs manual database update to resolve the issue which can be a time consuming process. |

We are currently considering this in two phases. The first phase would be to address the issue with the un-provision issue by providing a two step process with un-provision providing a "warning" message asking the user if they intend to Unprovision and asking them to confirm. This will help to prevent accidental "un-provisioning" actions.
The second phase would involve us considering additional user roles that would allow for such controls over certain actions like un-provisioning.
We are approaching the issue to provide for a faster resolution to the original concern while continuing to work on a more long term and complete solution.
