Hi Siva, With current architecture, it may not be possible to reduce the sync frequency. The DB backup runs every 1 hour and extract agent is run on DB backup. For details , please check following link.
Currently, we do not have plan to change our DB backup architecture.

To meet your needs, please consider using transactional events to generate real-time alerts.
Ability to run this by every 30 minutes, so that we keep Data lag to an Hour Max.

OMoC supports event-based architecture for getting data based on various transaction events. This can be used to obtain data from OMoC as soon as transaction completes in OMoC.

What is the desired frequency you would like to run the extract agent?
Time interval (in hours or minutes), prior to current time, for which data should not be extracted?
Limitations in using event - based approach , if any?
