Have the ability to edit the form view when opening an item from workflow or work queues

I have come to notice that, if I open an item from Workflow or from Work Queues, I do not have the same option to edit the form view that I do when I open an item from the Items tab. For some materials, I would be interested in different fields, and it would be convenient to be able to pull in that information quickly.

    Hi Alex, we have had a discussion around this. I wanted to clarify a few points:

    • Are you aware that each work queue can have a customised view? It is not one view for all work queues but a separate view for every single work queue. The thinking behind this is it is a standard business process that should follow the same review for each item. I would think that you have access to modify these layouts for the business, if not we can look into this.

    • It does make sense to be able to switch between views for work flows and work queues so we will promote this for development as the schedule allows.
