SEARCHUP() & SEARCHDOWN() functions should return all matched records, Instead of first match

Currently SEARCHUP() and SEARCHDOWN() functions return only single object.

We need the functionality for these functions to return all matched records instead of one similar to how EXTRACT() function returns data.

Using EXTRACT() on large data sets is taking longer time,If SEARCHUP() and SEARCHDOWN() functions returns all records, the execution time will be a lot less.

How will this idea be used?

We would use the new functions to merge multiple input files. Currenlty using EXTRACT() the merge is taking longer time.

    Although I agree this would make life simpler, it is also easily feasible using a type tree that groups all data with the save key in a same group.
