Item Level Distribution Groups in API calls

Currently Distribution Group information is passed at cart level. And one cart can have only one distribution group information.

We would like it to to be passed at Item level. meaning Each API call should be able to carry more than on DG and that too at ITem Level.

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

In our business we have multiple brands and there are common items being traded across the brands. We would like to have API calls to IV so that we can specify which Distribution Group should be referred to for each Item level in the car. This helps in maintaining and querying separate / dedicated inventory buckets for the common items.

Feature already existed. getNetworkAvailability allows user to pass DistributionGroup at header level, otherwise can provide DistributionGroup at line level.

Problem Description: The DG is for a header summary of an order and is not per line item.
Technical workaround for Solution: When querying availability for an order, for now you will need to call multiple invocations for each separate DG in parallel. \
