Not really a new idea. I am just passing along details on how one can issue an email or text message from an NDM task using RUN TASK PNODE (PGM=IRXJCL) -

    Thank you for opening this enhancement request with us. I have reviewed it with my team thoroughly and also looked for interest from our broader customer base. Unfortunately we've determined that this request has high technical complexity and low interest from our broader customer base. Because of that I must decline the request.

    Please note that IBM Control Center Monitor can likely already handle the email notification capabilities that you've requested. If you don't already have Control Center I would suggest reaching out to your sales rep to request some information about it's alerting capabilities.
