Supoprt for HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System)

What version of Sterling Connect:Direct Linux/Windows will support Hadoop HDFS? Do you have any release date? I found similar thread at https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=65228 but I didn't see any updates.

    Thank you for your patience as this enhancement request waited in the Connect:Direct backlog for resource to become available. We initially planned to deliver direct HDFS access via Connect:Direct, but upon further review don't believe that it would be the best use of resources.

    The modern storage market appears to have shifted away from Hadoop and towards cloud object storage. Because of this we have focused our investment there and believe that Hadoop storage requirements has become less relevant. Because of that shift in market interest I will need to update this request to move it from an Uncommitted Candidate to a Declined status as I don't believe we'll be able to deliver it within 2 years. I'm sorry to change directions on this request, but believe it will likely be the best use of resources.
