Capability to use Strong Modern Alog to Store password in AUTHFILE

Currently, Connect:Direct for HP NonStop uses an internal password protection mechanism for storing passwords in the AUTHFILE. But the AUTHFILE password protection mechanism is not equivalent to AES-256 or other modern industry-standard cryptographic algorithms. The password transformation applies only to a defined character set consisting of alphabetic characters, numeric characters, and space. Special characters are not transformed by the algorithm. And there is no alternative configurable password encryption method available in the current product release, which make it vulnerable.

Our internal Penetration tester have identified this as high Vulnerability and needs fixing in 60 days.

So we need stronger password protection capabilities are required when password is stored in Authfile.
