CDWS - login for protocol wording

The label for selecting the connection information currently listed as 'Protocol' should be changed to something more descriptive such as “Cipher Protocol” and instead of defaulting to “TCPIP” it should say “NONE”.

Having “TCPIP” in there is just confusing for the end user. And the users of this interface are likely the less technical staff…thus the even more critical need for this interface to be simple and not confusing.

Control Center for an example uses the label of 'Connection:' for this setting.

    Vijay,

Your plan for "Secure Protocol" and 'None' will be fine and serve the purpose.

    Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience and your recommendations. After reviewing this we have decided to consider to implement this idea in one of the future releases based on the roadmap priorities.

In addition we believe that we should use "Secure Protocol" label instead of your suggestion on “Cipher Protocol”. Also to confirm, we would change the TCPIP value in the dropbox to NONE. Please let us know if you still think differently.

If you have any additional feedback, thoughts or ideas, or if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate to reply to this message to continue the conversation. Appreciate your patience.

    Thanks,

    Product Management
