C:D Unix Web Interface needs some adjustability for user convenience.

The ability to adjust default settings when using the C:D Unix Web Interface is needed.  Current defaults when browsing statistics are lowest-common-denominator, i.e. the viewing of records is limited to 10 by default.  Most installations are capable of displaying far more information on a single page, and it would be convenient for the user to not have to constantly go click a few places to get a listing of 50 records (for instance).

I suggest the ability to adjust defaults in the Statistics page at a minimum:

1) set the default number of records displayed to between 10 and 50.

2) listing should be capable of auto-refresh, but this should be an option and not a default.

Additionally, for other usability options, I suggest:

1) the login page should be capable of having a default node selected, rather than having to choose each time via use of the dropdown menu.  Ipswitch' MOVEit simply saves the last node used and selects that as the default; perhaps the same could be done with C:D Web Interface.

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed it with my team and we believe that we can accept portions of the request.

Adjusting the number of statistics records to be displayed and setting default nodes for the login page are good suggestions and would be technically feasible. We will accept those as uncommitted candidates and will look to roll them into the roadmap moving forward.

We won't be able to accept the auto-refresh portion due to technical challenges that could impact performance however. For that functionality we would suggest using the browser refresh button to get updates views when needed. Thank you very much for opening this enhancement request.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
