The ability to monitor the time frame when no activity has happened.

There are times when Sterling File Gateway gets stuck and stops processing files but no alerts are generated etc. I would like to be able to monitor for no activity and when no activity has been detected in X time to be able to raise and alert/snmp/email etc.

What is your industry? Insurance
How will this idea be used?

To detect when there are issues with SFG that is preventing files from being processed and alerting support so that the issues can be resolved asap.
