Enable QuantumMetrics (Site Monitoring) for Call Center and Sterling Store

Introduction:

Site Monitoring enables the retailer to site metrics, navigational issues and session recording. This is a popular choice for B2C Ecommerce sites to validate the effectness, ease of navigation, tracking errors etc.

For Call Center and Sterling Store, it greatly enhances the visibility of the usage of the applications via session recording thereby enables faster identification and resolution of issues, enable training and identify errors.

The Ask:

To enable Quantum Metrics (3rd party tool or other site monitoring tools) tracking for Sterling Call Center and Sterling Store to record sessions and few analytics.

Challenges to partners:

1. Given both call center and Sterling Store have extension frameworks and work in combination of OOB code and extended code, need a mechanism to plug in QuantumMetric JS at an application level (preferably in index.html). Application level JS enablement shall monitor the entire application without need to declare the QuantumMetric JS at multiple places.

2. Given next-gen Call Center and Store are Angular applications, all page loads are handled by routes and not rendered from server. This requires QM to be invoked on every route change requiring app.component.ts of every app to register a page change. Again need a standard mechanism to invoke QuantumMetric for each route changes for both OOB and extended screens.
