This portal is to open public enhancement requests for IBM Sterling products and services. Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

"searchCatalogIndex" api is not returning the results based on the partial term.

In next-gen IBM Sterling Call Center, while creating orders on add item screen, user has to enter atleast one word from the item name/description to get the output.  But in most of the cases end users will not know the complete word or word may be too long to type in.

Eg: Lets consider an example, we have a product named "Veiled Rouge". if search with "rouge" then it returns all the items where we have "rouge" in the product name/product description. If we search with "roug" then it doesn't show up any records.

Issue: Our requirement is when user search for the term "roug" then it should return all the products/items where product name/description contains "roug".
