This portal is to open public enhancement requests for IBM Sterling products and services. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Understood! Thank you Jason.
Hi Jake, this is not a very common use case, so you can work on the customization in the new Call Center. If we hear similar requests from other customers in the future, we may revisit this RFE. Thanks.
Hey Jason, In the screenshot below you will see a field for the return tracking number. The customer usually calls in with that tracking number and the user will input that tracking number. We then look up the return and find the original order number based on that return. We had issues implementing it with the regular tracking number because the order could have multiple releases, but we would like to use the tracking number to find the original order number instead of using the return.
Hi Jake,
No need to get to the code level. It will be helpful to understand how did you implement the customization to search orders via tracking number. Screenshot with description of the flow would work. Thanks.
Hey Jason, I'd be happy share more details. Can you quickly clarify what exactly you are looking for? Do you want to see the backend code or would a screenshot work?
Hi Jake,
Can you please share the design of your current customization to allow the users to search using the tracking number? Thanks.
Hi Jake,
I am still checking with our engineering team on the backend API for this one. After the call today, I got the answers I was looking for. Thanks.
I saw this was moved to needs more information. Can I provide anything that will help you better understand this ticket?
