Global Mailbox needs to have a sample Mailbox Message Delete BP or Documentation demonstrating the best methods for deleting Global Mailbox Messages

Currently Global Mailbox does not have any out of the box Mailbox Message Delete BP. B2Bi has the Mailbox Scheduled Delete Service which can be configured to delete traditional mailbox messages. This service can list all the mailboxes and allow for specific mailbox selection and other parameters such as Days Old and Extracability.Once created this Service will create the BPML and schedule it.

However this Service cannot be used for Global Mailbox. Perhaps functionality can be added to the Mailbox Scheduled Delete Service that would allow it to be Global Mailbox aware and it could be used to select specific Global Mailboxes and create the BPML like it does with Traditional Mailboxes.


Deleting older Mailbox Messages in Global Mailbox is very important and needs to be done to keep the system functioning correctly.

    I agree. This is critical functionality. I have been getting a lot of very appreciated help with setting up a custom BP & Service to get similar functionality for Global Mailbox, but basic cleanup should not require custom code.
