IBM Sterling B2B Integrator External Perimeter Server Version details.

Logging the version details of IBM Sterling B2B External Perimeter Server either files like "PSLogger" or "StartupPS.log" or "remote_perimeter.properties" files of IBM external perimeter server.

This would be more helpful during below scenario's.

1) Investigation of any issue in the customer IBM MFT environment.

2) Most of the customers are upgrading or migrating their IBM MFT /Sterling B2Bi environments. If we have the perimeter server details it would be more informative during preparation of upgrade assessment.

When customers in-house /product implementation / support teams would like to know, to which version of External perimeter server their IBM MFT application is establishing tunnel during Inbound / Outbound flows.

These details would be value added during the investigation of any issue.

When It comes to IBM Sterling Secure Proxy external Perimeter server, it's version details are capturing the corresponding logging file.

It would be good to have version.xml to be created for IBM Sterling B2B External Perimeter server to capture the version.

similar to the IBM Sterling Secure Proxy Perimeter server in which it will create version.xml file to get to know the version of the same.
