enhanced PARSE function

In order to use the new PARSE function as a replacement for the old RUN(submap) constructs, the PARSE function should have similar behavior as RUN(submap). This essentially requires 2 enhancements: 1.) We need to pass arguments to PARSE like "-F21...

A new WARN() function, which would work similar to FAIL()

I propose a new function WARN(), which would work in a similar way to FAIL() and end the map with a specific warning code.

Add JDBC importer to Design Studio(Eclipse) or Database interface Designer

The only way to import a typetree for JDBC adapter, is to call an external java command line com.hcl.hip.tools.adapterdriver.TreeImporter for the adapter com.hcl.hip.adapters.m4jdbc. This is not a user friendly solution.

Support Open API 3.0 specifications int he OpenAPI typetree importer

As of now the OpenAPI importer only support swagger 2.0 json format. However, as the OpenApi V3 in json/yaml become more and more common it would be very usefull for ITX to support it.

Create multiple indexes in one shot

When developing and working with item(s), it could be interesting to create several indexes of an item in one shot. This is to avoid using the "add index" function again and again (which is time consuming)

data anonymization/masking (typetree attribute + test mode)

There are 2 requirements that lead to this idea: 1.) external requirements like GDPR force us to anonymize/pseudonymize data in non-production environments2.) A-B-testing would be much easier if we can mask dynamic attributes (e.g. timestamps) Thi...

Make component rules validation optional, just as it is the case with restriction lists

In WTX, when running a map, there's an option to avoid validating restriction lists. Having the same option for component rules could be useful in some cases.

referenced TypeTree (parts)

You can build one TypeTree or one strucutre and can use it for example as part of choice-group in another TypeTree. Everybody that use TypeTree as a kind of central unit and have to reuse these structures in other interfaces will benefit.

Need to build ITX 10.1.2.0 maps using Jenkins Pipeline and deploy in Linux environment

As part of our current process whenever we want to integrate ITX map with JAVA API, then we try to build any specific map in Design studio with specific environment like 'Build for specific platform' as 'Linux(INTEL processor). And move already bu...
8 months ago in Sterling Transformation Extender / WTX Maps & Type Trees 1 Planned for future release

ITX Design Studio should show functions while doing the mapping in ITX window the moment we start typing the function.

Right now, while doing the mapping, for every function we want to use we have to manually type that function regardless of the length of that function and this causes issues if even one character is wrong or absent in the function. What I want is ...
