Stream data for excel adapter

According to https://ideas.ibm.com/ideas/ITX-I-27, it is mentioned that the excel and pdf adapters can handle stream data while integrating with B2Bi or ITXA.


However as per the case TS014440463, there is a limitation for excel adapter to read from stream and it is required to write the the data to a physical location before using excel adapter.


Please check and advise if the excel adapter needs to be enhanced to read from the stream data while integrating with B2Bi/ITXA.

How will this idea be used?

We will be able to process the customer excel/pdf messages without needing to write to physical system.

    Hi Mike,


    But when SPETransformationServoce (ITXA) executed such ITX map with Excel adapter on input card, the results shows it cannot read from memory. Please check the case fro attached documents to recreate the issue.

    This functionality already exists.

    ITX has the memory read and write capability in the Excel adapter.
