Security mandates that all the connections need to be secured. WebSphere MQ supports SSL but not IBM Control Center, adding this functionality allows meeting the newer security requirements.

CC 6.1 handling more than 10 alerts at a time

Need ICC be able to monitor SEAS servers. Currently, ICC can monitor SSP and SFG. It should alos monitor SEAS.

Password Standards

WebSphere can not handle special characters in the password, you need to limit it to alphanumeric. Security and Risk standards dictate special characters being used in all passwords for strength.
