User management between SCC and Cognos

As of today, the user management for Cognos is done through a java security call to SCC, that provides dummy user/password to be able to run report. We do not have the possibility to create users in SCC that can connect to the cognos dispatcher, and run self defined report.
The only solution seems to be by using an LDAP or something equivalent to define cognos users there. It means to have multiple configuration points (SCC ui for SCC console and web ui, ldap for cognos).

Since we are have replaced Cognos as our default reporting engine, with native reporting engine, starting Control Center 6.2, this idea appears to be not necessary.
