Let Control Center have the ability to monitor critical database system events on a monitored SI server

Today, if a B2BI node looses its connection to the database server, it sends out an email. I would like Control Center to have the ability to detect if that event has occurred and send out an alert.

What is your industry? Automotive
How will this idea be used?

It will be used to alert oncall and management if a critical database event has occurred to a B2BI instance. That way we can quickly get the system back running again. As it is now, the only way to get an alert is to setup an outlook rule that looks for this email sent by SI and have it send out a message to peoples phones.

I agree it would be great for ICC to be able to monitor the DB items for B2Bi. Like database size nearing MAX. So you can get alerted when it reach certain thresholds.

I have seen instances where B2BI shows an event (with email) but is not captured in Control Center. I have the rule to monitor for CCTR034E.

When there is a critical db event for B2BI, doesn't the monitored server on Control Center appear in a down status?  If so, you can setup a Control Center rule when the B2BI server goes down to send an email.
