Option to rename installation directory for Control Center upgrades

We would like to have the option to be able to update the Control Center installation directory location/name after install. For example - when you install it provides a default directory name "ControlCenter6.1.0" as the default name, but when you upgrade to a later release you have to retain the same installation path, which could be an issue if you made the install directory with the version as an identifier.

What is your industry? Telecommunications
How will this idea be used?

Control Center installations will have the option to adjust installation directory if naming standard needs to be updated.
