Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

IBM Control Center - Add Messages so they are available for rule processing

SCC generates quite a few messages, however there are only a few that are actually available for rule processing. I would like to see all messages that are currently being generated and passed into the log to also be available for rule processing. What is the use for all of these messages if they are not available for rule processing? Seems like a waste of resources if they are not available for use and are only for informational purposes.

Could you please provide some specific messages/message IDs?

Here's some documentation (which may or may not be complete) on messages you can write rules for: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/control-center/6.2.0?topic=reference-message-ids-rules
