Quick actions from Lookup Inventory

Objective: Introduce location‑level Quick Actions directly within the Item Lookup screen, allowing store associates to initiate common SIM inventory tasks without navigating away from the lookup context. Each eligible location line includes a “Quick Actions” link, which opens a contextual action sheet containing only the actions relevant for that specific location. This reduces navigation, eliminates redundant data entry, and improves operational speed for high‑frequency adjustments.Current State:

  • Users search for an item using the Lookup Inventory portlet.

  • After identifying a location needing correction, they must exit and navigate manually to the Ad Hoc Move workflow.

  • No context (item, source location) is preserved; users must re-enter everything.

Proposed User Flow:

  1. User searches an item in Lookup.

  2. User taps Quick Actions under an available location.

  3. A contextual action sheet appears with the valid actions for that location.

  4. Selecting an action either:

    • Launches a pre-filled Ad Hoc Move workflow (Start Ad Hoc Move), or

    • Instantly performs a 1‑unit movement in the background and displays the movement summary (Move x1 actions), or

    • If DOCK LOCATION is selected, opens the filtered Putaway Task list.

Something like the attached mock up screens.
