Control logging of SSP CM monitoring messages

Messages are written to the auditlog.xml file (ACPT037I, ACPT040I and ACPT038I), as well as the sspengine.log file for the same activity.

It is possible to reduce the frequency of these messages, but only to once every 10 minutes.

It would be great to have a method of preventing the messages being written to the logs, without stopping the monitoring itself.

This would improve the usefulness of the log files, as they would not be populated with meaningless messages, which would in turn improve the efficiency and effectiveness of using the logs for real problem diagnosis.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

When diagnosing a problem, viewing the logs is an excellent way of gathering relevant information. However, if the log is full of irrelevant messages, it is almost impossible to find the messages related to the problem.

A clean log file will allow this to occur much more easily and efficiently, and lead to improved problem diagnosis, and resolution.

Thanks for submitting an enhancement request. We would review it further to address this in one of the future releases.
