Limit CM-BACKUP to Defined Number of Backups

This would benefit all users of SSP who have the configuration managers set to backup on startup within the System Settings CMSystemSettings global tab. Right now SSP creates an unlimited number of backup. This requires users to run separate scripts/automation to clean up the backups. This should be managed by the application creating the backups and configurable by the end user to define how many backups to keep.

    Hi,

    We have looked into this request in detail and we feel that it is a reasonable ask and a good addition to the product. However, we are trying to figure out the best way to get this done and timeline of delivery. So for now, I have put this Under Consideration. As something changes, I will announce here. Meanwhile feel free to use this tool to log in more Enhancement Requests with us as you see fit.
